And on to April....

Hey all, still trying to catch up; however here are a few posts that should have been up in April.

Enjoy :)

First Up: A wonderful sunset...

Below are a couple pictures I took at a fundraising dinner for Here's Life Inner City. This is a really cool non-profit organization that work with the poor in our community. If you have a heart for the poor around St. Paul and Minneapolis check them out they do some amazing work!

The dinner was at the Depot and I just love the architecture in that building...

One last February...

Theresa is 30? Ha ha - happy birthday old woman! Theresa had a fun night of bowling (she used up my one night of bowling a year so feel special!). Here are some pictures of the night.

Enjoy!

Really - who gets a martini at a bowling alley?

Happy Birthday Theresa - hope you have a wonderful year!

February in May????

Yes - I am heading all the way back to February when I was given the opportunity to take photos of my friends Anne and Ron's little bundle of joy, you might remember them from an earlier.

Well here is Simon!

He is so much fun. Thanks for letting me capture this time in his life!

Playing Catch up...

So I know I have not blogged in a while... sorry about that it has been crazy, however here is my attempt to catch up.

This is back in February, my husband signed up for a mission trip to Mexico with our church. In order to raise money for the trip the men put together jars of candy to sell the weekend of Valentines day. Here they are putting these jars together.

Holdiay Party + Rock Band = FUN til 5 in the Morning!

As promised here is some pictures from our evening of Rock Band - this game is addicting. I don't remember the last time I stayed up until 5 in the morning. Don't worry I paid for it the next couple of days....

Enjoy!

PS - unless you have a good voice avoid trying to sing Flyleaf.... Yes I got booed off the stage :(

Heck yeah - that is my rockstar pose...

Look at that concentration! I don't blame him drums are hard... (at least for those of us who have no rhythm)

The wonderful hosts - thanks Matt and Beth it was fun!

This is Beth's rock star picture

Thanks to Kieth I got to play a little with my camera, long exposure and my flash. It was very fun and I am excited to use these types of effects again! Thanks for the hints.

I know I have been slacking...

Sorry guys I know I have been slacking on updating my blog, but let me tell you I have some great pictures for you... Here are a couple things that have been going on that have kept me away from here.

1. A friend of mine had a crazy fun Christmas party which turned into a rock band marathon and some really fun pictures so look for those coming up.

2. I got married! YEAH! Right now Beth my amazing friend is going through both photographers pictures (over 2,000 pictures) so there has to be some good ones in there, even if they are of me :)

3. I shot a wedding last weekend, and let me tell you these pictures are going to be great. The bride had this amazing custom head piece and the wedding took place at a cool old mansion on Summit Ave. So I am really excited to get those pictures out for everyone.

So that pretty much sums up my January - seriously this month FLEW by...

Enjoy!

Andrea and Eric: Expecting...

So over the Christmas break I was able to meet up with my old college roommate and take some pictures. Here are just a few of the pictures we took. I was also able to "borrow" a friends 50 mm f/1.8 lens and let me tell you, I NEED one of these puppies....

Enjoy!

Can an Ad Agency make a difference?

What a cool idea? This would make me want to get back into the agency world again.... I hope and pray that this will actually happen.
