What a bunch of punks.

This is why we asked him to be our photographer for our wedding. He never misses a shot!

If you look at this picture - he is actually going from right to left... Yep, I captured this just before he took a digger and landed right on his face... Nice form Jon!

An Artistic Minigolf Adventure... (Just a peak)

Happy Birthday Kara - it was fun and there are more pictures to come I swear, I just need to get them onto the computer.

Awesome article about writing for the web.

Found this cool article about writing for the web. Has great pointers and descriptions on what to do and not to do. I have not seen an article that has covered as much information all in one document. It is almost like they were reading my mind. Imagine it is a government site, maybe my phone is tapped. j/k

Seeing as how I work on an intranet support team, you can imagine how many times I want to edit someone's content on their site.

Anyway - if you're interested take a look Writing for the Web.

Enjoy :)

More soap box...

So one argument I have heard recently about Universal Healthcare is that it will take months for people to get in to see a doctor, where as now, you can get in quicker.....

Hmmmmm.... lets take the two most recent attempts of me trying to set up doctor appointments.

1. I tore my ACL last Aug. went to Peru at about the 6 month mark, missed my 6 month check up to see how my knee was healing. About one or two months ago my knee was bothering me (I had started playing sports again) so I figured since I didn't have my 6 month check up I would make an appointment just to make sure I am not injuring it more by playing sports. Any how called the doctor. The FIRST available appointment was not until Aug. 11th.... THIS WAS OVER A MONTH AGO.... That is a 3 month waiting period for a check up....

2. I have not had a yearly physical for about 2 years.... I am getting married in Jan. and we are not looking to have kids anytime soon, so I figured I should get in, and look into getting back on the pill.... Just called today, my doctor does not have an opening until Sept. 10th.... that is again 3 month wait for a doctor's appointment.

Now I ask you, will Universal Healthcare really push out typical doctor appointments out that much?
